Ikat Nail design

After quite a while off CarmellaNails I bring you another nail design!  I was looking at nail art on my Pinterest and came across something that looked a little rugged but easy to do in a short amount of time. Thus Ikat became my design of choice!  For the base I used Sinful Colors Island Coral.  The yellow is Color Club’s Almost Famous.  The black and white are Artdeco nail art polishes.  This is my first attempt at Ikat!  More to come soon and stay beautimous!!

Well, I just discovered this app for WordPress (I’m late I know ) and I decided I should post some pictures of my nails that I painted a few days ago. The polish is still going strong after some seche vite topcoat! Love that stuff seriously its amazeballs. Anyways, stay beautimous and hopefully I’ll be back to stay with more nail designs!

The stars are falling… but we have flowers

Hello! I’m so excited because my first item from my Amazon order came– fimo canes! I’ll post a photo of them with the rest of my stuff when it arrives. But until then… enjoy the suspense! But on another note, I decided to do a take on elleandish ‘s tutorial on a falling glitter design. I picked up two new Wet N’ Wild wild shine polishes yesterday– Blazed and Hallucinate. Hallucinate is the glitter polish. I thought “Yeah the glitter is pretty and all but I wanna use my new canes!” So I sliced a flower one and stuck one on each ring finger. I think the result was pretty neat! Let me know what you think of the design. Stay Beautimous!

First Post Ever!

First Post Ever!

Hello fellow (or not) wordpressers! I just created my blog today and I’m so excited! One of my dear friends (who also has a blog here: http://www.lizbiztoday.wordpress.com ) inspired me to make a nail art blog! I just ordered some new nail art supplies on Amazon (which I will be posting about as soon as they arrive) which gave me the idea to not only create amazing nail art designs but share them online! No use in keeping all this brilliantness to myself! 😉 So I’m coming to you with my first nail art post! As you can see the mint color on every finger except my ring is the Sinful Colors polish in my hand. Its called Mint Apple. When I first put it on i was pleasantly surprised that it was a bit frosty and I loved it! The pink on my ring finger is Sinful Colors- Island Coral. Love it as well! I created the white triangles with my L.A. Colors Art Deco pen in White. I finished everything off with Seche Vite top coat (base coat was Sinful Colors in Clear). Thanks so much for reading and stay tuned for more posts in the near future once my nail art supplies arrive! Stay Beautimous!!
